We are developers, designers and product builders. We run an international, remote team of the leading experts. We keep our costs low so that we can do what we love, build products without it costing the earth.
How we work together
When you come to us it is because you have a problem that needs to be solved. We work with you to solve that problem in the right way. We will plan the product delivery, assemble the team and help you deliver a great product.

The Plan
How are we going to take your idea and make it a reality? We will work with you on plan that sets out how we will work together, who we will need, timelines and costs.
Building Version One
We take the plan and turn it into a product. Version One of the product is a basic form of the product that proves the approach and lets your start using it.
Taking It Forward
As you start to use your product we gather feedback and work with you to plan the next set of features. We will support your team as your start to use it and evolve the product to get it right

Do you have an idea and need a partner?
If you have a great idea for a product you need and you think other companies might need it to then a partnership might be right for you. We agree to build you product for a low cost and then work with you to sell it to others.
Do you need help to build your product?
If your idea is only for your business then maybe you don’t want to sell it anyone else. We will work with you to design and build your product, you will own it and use it grow your business.
Somethings we don’t do
Our team all come from product development in lots of different organisations and we have seen all the common mistakes. We started Perrio to be different so here are a few things you will not see from us
Don’t pay for our office
We see lots of expensive consultancies that need to cover a large overhead. They have big, city centre offices and back office teams. We don’t do that, we work remotely so our team can be where they work best and we keep our costs down
Design, design, design
We see too many products get bogged down in endless design phases. It can be tempting to spend too long on detailed UX or complex architecture diagrams. We know that Version One of your product is a long way from the final version so aim to get there fast, test it and improve
Roles, roles, roles
A common approach to building a team is to look at a problem and define the roles you need. Consultancies may tell you that you need 2 frontend devs, 3 backend, 1 tester, 2 devops and an architect. Suddenly you have a large expensive team. We just give a talented team who can do all work rather than worry about roles
Lock you in
A common approach we see in the industry is for the consulting business to lock their clients into long term contracts that it hard to change. We want to build long term relationships buts we prefer a short, simple agreement so you see results quickly. We can always renew and add new agreements to fit all our needs
Just build anything
We want your product to be successful, we are even willing to partner on the right product. We have all seen projects that we knew were not going to work but the client was paying so they keep going. Thanks to our low cost base we are not forced to take on projects that we know will not work. Instead we will tell you and help you improve it
Guessing games
We don’t like to guess with products. We prefer to use data and research to make our decisions, and so should you. We will work with you to define a research approach and create prototypes that will help to refine the product. We iterate and test our changes with users so we know the product is moving in the right direction
